How James & Nancy Met

Nancy & James met at Catering in August of 2007. James walked in to an employee meeting, Nancy saw him, leaned over to her friend and whispered, "He's cute. We should date." Later that month, Nancy and James worked on a banquet together and Nancy realized what a huge flirt he was with all the girls and was not interested in him anymore.
James acquired tickets to a very popular musical group at BYU and Nancy wanted to go really badly. James said that as long as he didn't have a girlfriend when the time came, she could go with him.
Time passed and Nancy and James would talk, mostly at work. Around Thanksgiving, Nancy needed a ride home from the airport and asked if James would help her out. James graciously did. He invited Nancy over a couple of times, but she refused. One night, James asked if Nancy would come over. She said she wasn't feeling well. He offered to bring her some tea. She quickly refused and assured him he should not come over. In actuality, she had another guy over playing Mario Kart with her =)
Nancy got to go to Vocal Point with James and eventually she started going over to his apartment. They enjoyed each other's company and had fun together. James found out the Nancy wanted to go see the lights up at Temple Square before she went home for Christmas. He found a sub for work and asked her to go with him. There was a snow storm on the way up and it took them an hour and forty-five minutes to get to Salt Lake. And it was snowing really hard the whole time they were there. But the weather provided for some good talk time, and James found out that Nancy was everything he ever wanted in a woman/girlfriend/wife.
Nancy went home for Christmas and James and she would exchange texts. One night James called Nancy and told her how he felt. When they both got back to Provo, Nancy agreed to date James. A month later, they were looking for married housing, even though they weren't 100% sure they would get married.
James proposed to Nancy on May 8th, 2008. He had their friend who was taking their engagement photos come by to take "practice shots". Nancy had no idea. They wondered campus taking pictures and for one picture, James said Nancy was missing something. He got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and asked Nancy to be his wife. Nancy cried, laughed and accepted =) Nancy & James were married in the Sacramento California Temple on August 2nd, 2008.

They had the coolest wedding reception in Provo, UT. Just ask the people that went ;)
